Personal Training Policy Guidelines

  • For optimal results, a minimum of two meetings per week is necessary — your body requires an adequate amount of stimuli to create change.
  • Dietary and lifestyle modifications are crucial for successful goal attainment. I invite you to inquire about my nutrition and lifestyle-coaching program if you would like guidance in optimizing these areas.
  • All sessions must be paid for in advance or at the time of service.
  • Appointments should be scheduled for the same time weekly; otherwise, I may not be able to guarantee your preferred time slot.
  • Your standing appointments do not include recommended cardiovascular training sessions, additional stretching, foam rolling or Zone exercises, which are to be completed on your own. If you are not completing these on your own, you should consider increasing the frequency of your personal training sessions or attending group fitness classes.
  • For optimal results, sessions must be completed in a continual fashion. To truly transform your body, consistency, smart goal setting and commitment to change are the key.
  • Please be ready to begin each training session at your scheduled appointment time. We need to use all of the time we have together.
  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required or you will be charged for that session. I will also provide a 24-hour cancellation notice should I need to cancel a training session. If I fail to do so you are entitled to a free training session.
  • Should you need to reschedule an appointment, I will do my best to accommodate your request.
  • Should you incur an injury that will prevent you from participating in any component of your training program, please provide me with a physician’s note detailing the injury and exercise contraindications so that modifications can be made to your program.
  • Please advise me of your travel plans as soon as possible, so I may adjust our scheduled time together accordingly.
  • All personal training sales are final.
  • If you refer me a client that trains with me for at least 10 sessions, I will give you one free training session.

Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching Policy Guidelines

  • All information discussed during your coaching sessions or obtained on your assessment forms is strictly confidential.
  • All new clients are entitled to a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation with me to discuss any related topic related to health, fitness, nutrition, stress, digestion, sleep, metabolic typing, holistic healing, or metaphysical medicine. You must schedule this consult one week in advance. Please be prepared for your consultation: the more work you put into preparing for it, the more value you will get. Please submit your specific concerns and questions to me by email at jackie@theorganicexperiencenyc.com at least 48 hours in advance prior to the consultation so I may have a chance to review your email and make notes.
  • Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching is sold in packages of four to eight weeks depending on your current lifestyle, goals, and health history. There are many components to this work and one cannot expect to significantly change his/her lifestyle in just one information session. Together we will determine the duration of your program to meet your specific needs.
  • All program purchases are non-refundable.
  • It is ideal to schedule our meetings weekly -avoid skipping weeks.
  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required or you will be charged the full amount of the session. I will also provide a 24-hour notice should I need to cancel a session. If I fail to do so, you are entitled to a free holistic coaching, yoga, or personal training session.
  • Should you wish to reschedule an appointment, I will do my best to accommodate your request. Should you wish to reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours notification, you will be charged for the new appointment in addition to the missed appointment.
  • Appointments can be done in your home, at convenient consulting locations on the upper east side or midtown, or by phone. Even if you are traveling or become ill, we can still conduct a consultation via phone call, and I can send you all of your necessary program documents via e-mail. Consistency is necessary to achieve great results with this program. Please advise me as to when you will be out of town at least two weeks in advance so I may plan accordingly.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your program. The remainder of your balance is due before your first meeting.
